Welcome to DraftIt. By creating an account or using the DraftIt app ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). Please read them carefully.

    In short: Use DraftIt responsibly, keep your account secure, and understand that AI-generated content (notes, exam questions, resumes) should be reviewed by you before relying on it for academic or professional purposes.
  

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using DraftIt, you confirm that you are at least 16 years old (or have permission from a parent or guardian) and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

2. Description of Service

DraftIt provides three core features:

Voice-to-Notes: Converts recorded lecture audio into structured, AI-generated notes and summaries.
Exam Predictor: Generates practice exam questions based on your notes and syllabus, with AI-assisted answer evaluation.
Career Architect: Helps you build a Master Profile and generate ATS-optimized resumes tailored to specific job descriptions.

3. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to provide accurate information when registering and to notify us if you suspect unauthorized access to your account. You may delete your account at any time from Settings, which will permanently remove your data.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use DraftIt for any unlawful purpose or to violate academic integrity policies of your institution
Upload or record content that infringes on others' intellectual property or privacy rights
Attempt to reverse-engineer, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to the App or its underlying systems
Use the App to generate or distribute harmful, abusive, or misleading content

5. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

DraftIt uses third-party AI models to generate notes, exam questions, answer evaluations, and resume content. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated content may occasionally contain errors, omissions, or inaccuracies. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying any AI-generated content before relying on it for exams, job applications, or other important decisions. DraftIt is a study and productivity aid, not a replacement for your own learning, judgment, or professional advice.

6. Intellectual Property

You retain full ownership of the content you create using DraftIt, including your notes, recordings, and resume data. DraftIt and its branding, design, and underlying technology remain the property of its creators.

7. Service Availability

We aim to keep DraftIt available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Features depending on third-party AI services (such as note generation or resume building) may be temporarily affected by outages or rate limits beyond our control.

8. Limitation of Liability

DraftIt is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any academic, professional, or personal outcomes resulting from your use of the App, including but not limited to exam performance or job application results.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect new features or legal requirements. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
