Delete Your Account

We respect your right to control your data. You can permanently delete your DraftIt account and all associated data at any time — directly from within the app, or by contacting us if you no longer have access.

⚠️ This action is permanent. Deleting your account removes all your data from our systems. This cannot be undone. Please make sure you want to proceed before continuing.

Option 1 — Delete from inside the app

This is the fastest way. Follow these steps:

Open DraftIt

Launch the app on your Android device and sign in if you haven't already.

Go to Settings

Tap the Settings tab in the bottom navigation bar (bottom right icon).

Scroll to Account section

Scroll down until you see the Account section with Sign Out and Delete Account options.

Tap "Delete Account"

Tap the red Delete Account button. A confirmation sheet will appear.

Confirm your identity

For email accounts: enter your current password to confirm.
For Google accounts: you will be prompted to re-authenticate with Google.

Tap "Delete" — done

Your account and all data are permanently deleted immediately. You will be signed out automatically.

✓ Instant deletion. When you delete from inside the app, your account is removed from Firebase Authentication and all your cloud data is permanently deleted immediately — no waiting period.

Option 2 — Request deletion by email

If you have already uninstalled the app or cannot sign in, you can request account deletion by emailing us directly.

Send your request to:

Email us at the support address listed on our homepage with the subject line "Account Deletion Request" and include your registered email address in the message body.

We will permanently delete your account and all associated data within 30 days of receiving your request and send you a confirmation email once complete.

What data gets deleted

When your account is deleted — whether from the app or via email request — the following data is permanently removed:

Note on local data: Data stored on your device (exam questions, syllabus progress, cached notes) is automatically removed when you uninstall the DraftIt app from your phone. It is not accessible by us and does not need to be separately deleted.
